Today I led the Malawian Delegation on behalf of Malawi Government in signing a Memorandum of understanding between the government of the republic of Malawi and the government of the republic of South Africa on the cooperation in the field of Labor.Malawi and South Africa for a long time have had a Labour relationship which has seen a lot of Malawians trek to the country to find jobs in different sectors. While we can not stop Labour people from moving to another country in search of jobs, we can ensure their movement is safeguarded by laws and protocols. It is from this background that we have signed this MOU that will see both countries manage Labour issues in unison for the benefit of our citizens
