Today, I met with the head of the World Bank in Malawi Mr Hugh Riddell to discuss among others, the operationalization of the Job Creation Strategy as well as how it links with a World Bank funded SAVE project. The SAVE project seeks to establish partnerships with relevant industries and private sector entities to support skills development in priority areas, namely agriculture, education, energy, health, industry, and ICT as well as updating courses and training of lecturers, professors, and staff.
